Becoming a member of the Phi Chi Theta family is a major decision. By joining, you will choose an incredible new direction for your career path and form lifelong friendships. In order to make that decision, we want to keep you as informed as possible. This meeting is designed to educate you on each pillar of our chapter. We will discuss our professional events and resources, the social events we host, the philanthropy activities we take part in, and answer any questions you may have.

This event is an opportunity to learn about how our members get involved in the community. During past philanthropy events for recruitment, we have worked with Operation Christmas Child, Children's Hunger Alliance, 4 Paws for Ability and Inspire OSU to pack shoeboxes with gifts or create toys for dogs in shelters. We have also created cards for veterans, and blankets for the Ronald McDonald House.

Our DE&I pillar event typically consists of a presentation from the DE&I chair, followed by smaller group discussions on topics related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You will have the opportunity to learn about some past events PCT has put on to guide personal development in DE&I and how to apply learnings to the workplace.

In the past, the Professional Event has included guest speakers from Speedway, Wendy's, Walmart and JPMorgan. We have also had resume workshops and member panels to better prepare candidates for their interviews and applications. This is an opportunity to network with members and ask any professional questions you may have over the course of the session. Please bring a few copies of your current resume (physical or digital).

The Brotherhood Event is an opportunity to meet our members and learn more about our chapter’s individuals and leaders. During past brotherhood pillar events for recruitment, we have held a "speed dating" event to allow each potential member to meet each current member. We have also played Jeopardy and other team games to get to know candidates better.
Note: This event will be held outdoors, barring any weather restrictions.
