"I remember walking into FGOH and almost turning around because of how intimidated I was seeing everyone in there. Little did I know staying was one of the best decisions I’d ever make. PCT has set me up to succeed by helping me gain my internship, and given me lifelong friends."

Frequently Asked Questions

Rush is your chance to get to know our chapter, and for us to get to know you. Over the course of about two weeks, we host two information sessions and four pillar events that give you a feel for our culture, values, and people, while showing how PCT can help you grow at Ohio State. At the conclusion of rush, we hold professional interviews to learn more about each of our invited applicants in a more direct setting.
Each business fraternity at Ohio State is unique and offers something valuable, and where you belong really comes down to where you feel the strongest connection. What makes PCT different is our people. We believe that the strength of our chapter comes from the way our members support, celebrate, and look after each other—fostering a community that feels like family.
Nope! You don’t have to attend every event to participate in rush. While we encourage you to join as many events as possible to get a full sense of our chapter and culture, we understand that schedules can be busy. Each event is designed to give you a glimpse of different aspects of PCT, so attending multiple events will help you—and us—see if it’s the right fit.
Yes! You can rush as many times as you would like. We hold recruitment at the beginning of the spring semester and the beginning of the fall semester.

Pledges must attend a dedicated pledge meeting, similar to our chapter, but with their pledge class. The pledge class also hosts a variety of social, philanthropy, DEI, and professional events to get to know our chapter better. The commitment is similar to a 3 credit hour class.

Yes! As long as it is not another business fraternity, you are still eligible to join Phi Chi Theta.

A Message from our Recruitment Chair

Ethan Ross Headshot
Hi! I’m Ethan, the Recruitment Chair for the Zeta Nu chapter of PCT.

Rush is such an exciting time for us because it’s when we get to welcome new faces and share what makes this organization so special. PCT is a place where people come together from all different backgrounds and majors, but what we have in common is the drive to grow, support each other, and make the most of our time here. Through PCT, I’ve met people who believed in me and helped me push beyond what I thought I was capable of.

If you’re curious, I’d love to see you at an event and answer any questions you might have. Whether you’re sure about rushing or just exploring, I’m here to help you feel comfortable and find your place here.

See you soon!
