FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time commitment can members expect?

The time commitment for Phi Chi Theta is very manageable. The weekly chapter meetings and recruitment events are required by all members. Some social, philanthropy, and professional events are not mandatory, but not all.

What time commitment can pledges expect?

Pledges must attend their own pledge meeting, similar to our chapter, but with their pledge class. The pledge class also hosts a variety of social, philanthropy, dei, and professional events to get to know our chapter better. The commitment is similar to a 3 credit hour class.

What leadership positions are available?

On our Executive Board, we have positions including President, Vice President, VP Membership, VP Outreach, VP Finance, and VP Operations. We also have multiple committees, and all members have an opportunity to join and contribute to a committee. These committees include Corporate Relations, Outreach, Finance, Professionalism, Brotherhood, Philanthropy, DEI, Recruitment, Membership, and Wellness & Risk Prevention. Each committee has an overseeing elected leader.

Can I be in another Greek organization and still join Phi Chi Theta?

Yes! As long as it is not another business fraternity, you are still able to join Phi Chi Theta.

Are there membership dues?

Yes, there are membership dues, but our dues are significantly less than other greek organizations.

Can I rush multiple times?
